At Last, Summer Sun
(Something's begun but oh oh those summer nights
),
Sorry I drifted off into Olivia Newton John (worrying).
Hopefully you are all well and making the most of the sunshine. It would appear that a lot of people are away at the moment as the shop seems quite quiet and obviously getting to work is easier. I know we say this every year but it really is amazing the difference in the traffic when the kids are on holiday (in my day we walked 20 miles bare foot to school and back and did we moan YES!). In all honesty if I had been offered a lift obviously I would have taken it, but I wasn't, so I just had to Bus, Bike or Walk it. Life just changes, I'm not always sure for the best, but you can't stop progress?
Like the progress The Complete Office has made in the range of goods and services we now offer (subtle?). And talking of which I am very pleased to enclose our latest and some would say greatest 4 Site brochure. Let's start at the finish. The back page to be precise, it shows the Office Safety Booklets. Every company in the country must adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act; these Booklets give you a simple solution. It takes you through each section and allows you to give each employee their own set of Company Health and Safety rules. It's a must!
Also on offer is a full range of Catering Product, from a Cup of Tea with a FREE Fan (PG Tips page 3) to a Wanderer Fridge (page 6). I just hope this doesn't keep Wandering off on its own. Who can spot the Body Fluid Disposal Kit, not very pleasant but necessary.
One of our customers is offering a Work Station Analysis, this entails them visiting your offices studying your employees at work and analysing the Health and Safety aspects of their Seating, Keyboard, Screen etc and reporting back to you with suggestions for possible improvement. Please give me a call if you are interested.
Following our many years trading in the Richmond Area we are being put forward for the Local Business Awards so keep your eyes peeled in the local press to see how well (or not) we did.
As I mentioned in last months letter Rural Rachel and tribe are off sunning themselves in Spain for a couple of weeks, so if you have any account queries (I'm sorry) you'll have to speak to me. Hopefully all the Statements will be correct and we'll have no problems ha ha.
The rest of the crew are all relatively healthy and happy.
- Adam is busy beavering away at getting his newish house sorted. New bathroom, New ceilings, New flooring, in fact it might have been easier to have moved again. But I suppose he'll get it finished one day.
- Dave (I'm only the driver) has booked himself a week off in the sunshine? of Dorset this month, we're all praying for him and the family that the warm weather continues.
- Chance is avoiding holidays at the moment as he is hoping to move home. Big step away from the comforts of Mums home cooking, ironing, washing etc. But we all have to make the leap at some stage in our life.
- Ken is still dreaming of long summer nights sitting on the balcony of his property in Spain. Sipping from a straw his long cool, ice filled, cherry topped Pint of Larger.
As ever please accept our thanks for your business and PLEASE don't forget to give us a call should you require anything for your office. We really are quite diverse. I know some customers don't realise that we can supply everything and anything for the office and at very competitive prices if we are given the chance.
Thanks for listening, have a great August (lets hope the sun keeps shining) and I'll speak to you all soon.
Cheers
Malcolm + Eric
